DO NOT LITTER!

The Red Hill route runs through a number of environmentally sensitive areas, national parks and next to the ocean, as such our race has a zero-tolerance policy towards littering, please remember the only place to toss a plastic sachet is in a bin, kilometer markers are not bins.

Keep an eye out for our green Marshals, if you spot anyone littering please report them.

RACE STARTING TIME

Due to the roadworks being a safety issue NO LATE STARTERS will be allowed.  Please make sure that you are the assembly point at NO LATER THAN 5h15.

The race assembly point is at the corner of Kommetjie Rd and Corsair Way.  You will need approximately 5 minutes to walk the 500 meters from the club to the assembly point and you must be at the assembly point no later than 5h15.

ROUTE

Due to roadworks on Kommetjie Rd, the first 2km of the route will take a slight detour around the roadworks section, so please ensure that you are on time to start the race at 5:30 as we will only have a small window of time to get through the closed-off sections of the route.

Please keep to the far right.

Much of the route is open to traffic, so please for your own safety keep to the far right at all times unless instructed otherwise by a marshal,  if a marshal stops you thank him/her for caring about your safety. Run smart!

for the safety of all runners, some roads are either closed or partially closed, no cars will be allowed through these sections during the race, a car, motorbike or bicycle will not be able to follow a runner throughout the race.
